"The world of religion is one where dogma trumps common sense and reality is suborned by supernatural nonsense.
"I
should say much more if I were not afraid of being heard by those who
are uninitiated; because men are apt to deride what they do not
understand; and the ignorant, not being aware of the weakness of their
minds, condemn what they ought most to Venerate."

yes it's all very puzzling, even after one like myself has witnessed the supernatural first hand. you're in the position of not having understanding of what you have never experienced! That make sense but still you go and judge that which you have no perfect knowledge of. so round and round it goes. EH?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. Posts like this are designed to provoke thought. Personally, I have experienced the paranormal and believe in different dimensions (or mansions, as the Bible teaches?). To find truth, I believe requires openness to other modes of thought, to weigh the possibilities, to test hypotheses, among other things. I do not know, nor claim to know ALL TRUTH. I can only try to make "sufficient conclusions from insufficient premises".
ReplyDeleteIt appears to me that you have assumed many things that have no connection to reality. You have judged me...of whom you have no perfect knowledge. So round and round it goes, eh?
